Submittal Process

After you have passed the final defense and satisfied the requirements of the committee, you must obtain the signatures of the committee on the Approval Form. At this point you are ready to submit your thesis/dissertation to the Thesis Office for review.

Once we receive the three items below, the submittal is complete. Then we will review the submitted thesis and notify you of any changes that may need to be made.

  1. The thesis submitted electronically as a single PDF file.

  2. Signed approval form delivered by hand or by mail (We recommend hand delivery).
  3. A copy of an article from the journal model. This article must have been published within the last 5 years and should contain an extensive reference list.

Note: Your committee chair will have access to a copy of the file you submit. Also, the submitted manuscript will be available to administrative officers of your department upon request.
